Final call for our Short Story Special Offer

Our next short story deadline is April 30th – that’s just three weeks away.

And this will be your last chance to take advantage of our ‘4 for 3’ special offer.

A year ago, when the global pandemic was really taking a hold and the whole world was going into lockdown, we decided to open up the offer. We knew people would be spending more time at home and looking for things to occupy their time.

If people were writing more stories, we figured, then why not enable them to enter more stories into our competition – but at no extra cost.

So that’s what we did, and the results were fantastic. We received a huge increase in the number of entries to our competition, and many of the long- and short-listed entries – not to mention some of the winning stories – came from these multiple submissions.

We know too, from the many messages we received from writers, that it was a popular offer, and by request we extended it a couple of times.

But all good things must come to an end, and this quarter will be the final time that our 4 for 3 offer will be available.

The fee for one or two stories remains the same – £5 for one, £8 for two – but if you pay the fee of £10 you will qualify to enter FOUR stories, instead of the usual three. This equates to just £2.50 per story entered; we know of very few paid competitions which are better value than that!

So – there’s your challenge! You’ve got 3 weeks! Dust off some of your old stories if you like, and give them a bit of a redraft and a spuce up. Or blast trough that blank page and write four brand new short stories. However you do it, we can’t wait to read the results!

You can enter the competition here. Make sure you carefully read and abide by all the rules of the competition. If you would like to read previous winners and placed entries, you can do so here.

Now what are you waiting for?… GET WRITING!

Good luck!
