Extra DateSaturday 11th October 2014
The Customs House, South Shields

The response to the show has been incredible during September, and the demand for tickets has been insatiable!  From the original planned tour, which saw us play a couple of nights at The Customs House before going on to do one night at Washington Arts Centre and one night at Durham Gala, we had to keep adding extra dates to keep up with demand, and ended up doubling the amount of shows we’d originally planned – with all of them but one being completely sold out.

So we’re delighted to announce that The Customs House – the spiritual home of I Left My Heart In Roker Park – has asked us back, for one final farewell performance!

We’ll be playing in the main house, on Saturday 11th October 2014. The show starts at 7.45pm.

And the great news is that Michael Ganley of SAFC Museum will be returning to the venue with us, with more of his collection of Sunderland and football memorabilia. Take a look at the photo gallery below – if you’d like to come along and try on tops worn by Phillips, Quinn, Porterfield, and the like, then make sure you book your tickets soon!

Tickets are now on sale from the Customs House box office (0191 454 1234) – but hurry, demand is high and many of the stalls tickets are already gone!

“When a company takes a production on tour, even a local tour, and has to keep adding extra dates, you know that the play has to be something special. That’s the situation with Cranked Anvil’s production of Tom Kelly’s one-man play I Left My Heart in Roker Park.”             Peter Lathan, British Theatre Guide

Make sure you don’t miss out – this may well be your last chance to see this show this year!
